2020-2021 Compliance Effotrts

  • Coordinated institution’s response to the Student and Exchange Visitor Program guidance monitoring student enrollment in remote courses and out of country notifications.
  • Continued to provide virtual advising services to constituents for the fall 2020 semester with in-person document services in the afternoons.  In the spring 2021 semester, we moved to offering in-person as well as virtual advising services.
  • Developed compliance communication plan with assistance of graduate intern, Thalita da Silva Hotz, Spring 2021 semester
  • Launched podcast “International in NWA,” May 2021
  • Audra Johnston was featured presenter for Fulbright College DEI Hour discussing the “In Their Shoes” training program, September 2020
  • Transitioned to Microsoft Bookings as a more flexible and less expensive appointment scheduling software for department, March 2021
  • Andrew Van Lew made Optional Practical Training presentation to African Student Organization RSO, Spring 2021
